Sound Of Football Podcast 39 - Champions League Final 2010

Chris and Graham present The Sound of Football's first ever '3-Way Special' for the 2010 Champions League Final.

In an innovative and possibly ill-judged move, we recorded a show before, during and after a big game - namely the battle between Inter and Bayern at the Bernabeu Stadium.

We assessed the key players, the coaches, the tactics - in fact the whole shooting match - before checking out some of the more amusing Twitter messages floating around on the web during the final prior to reviewing the action after the event from Madrid.

Back with a full compliment, the chaps breath a sigh of relief now that the Premier League is finally over. We praise Chelsea for their title victory, offer a warning to Tottenham not to get ahead of themselves and suggest that Europa League qualifcation for Manchester City may not be a bad thing after all.

There is also a fond farewell to Soccerjens.

Sound of Football Episode 30 - Technology in Football

This week, the chaps discuss an old bugbear. In light of FIFA's recent decision to not pursue the use of goal line technology, Chris, Graham and Terry talked about the problems and concerns they have about the use of technology in the game.

There are some forthright opinions which go against the general Sky Sports-led consensus that technology is a good thing. They also question the motives of commercial broadcasters in the officiating of football.

We very much welcome your views and ask you to contribute to the debate. Listen to the podcast and let us know what you think.

Sound of Football Episode 27 - Champions League Play-Off

Only one topic of conversation for this week's Sound of Football and it wasn't the contents of Ashley Cole's underpants. Nope, the latest edition of the podcast is focused on the Champions League Qualifying Play-Off currently being proposed by the Premier League.

It's a fascinating topic which gets the chaps all hot and bothered so don't miss the latest episode of the Sound Of Football.

Sound of Football Episode 26 - Euro 2012

Inexplicably, we've forgotten to inform you about this week's Sound of Football podcast which hit the internet a day or two ago.

In this week's episode, Terry, Graham and I try to make some sense of the Euro 2012 draw with assessments of the British home nations and the Republic Of Ireland. We also slag off the French and undermine the Germans.

With the remaining few minutes of the podcast we try not to blow our brains out with despair as we talk about John Terry. Plus, there's another exciting episode of SoccerJens.

What more could you possibly ask for? We know, more punctual reminders, yeah yeah...

Sound of Football Episode 25 - England World Cup Special

This week's Sound Of Football podcast is available for you to download.

Join us at Graham's house as we take advantage of the fact that all three of us were in the same place at the same time to record a show for you - and a special one at that.

This week we take a look at England's chances in the World Cup in the wake of the latest controversy surrounding John Terry. We ask if Terry should continue as skipper, if Wayne Rooney and Steven Gerrard might suffer from burn out by the time the tournament begins and we ponder the defensive and goalkeeping permutations.

There's a load of other stuff too, so check it out and let us know what you think.
