Shirts for 2007/08: Reading (away / 2nd)

Something a bit different for you today in the form of Reading's new away shirt for the 2007/2008 Premier League season:

Just as last season, Reading's kit is made by Puma but this time they've gone for a two-tone-grey affair to sport on their travels away from home. It'll cost you somewhere in the region of £38.00 and it's available to pre-order now via the Reading website.

I rather like this one for all it's battleship hues, but what do you make of it? As ever, we're dying to find out, so leave us a comment or take part in our online poll...

VOTING HAS NOW CLOSED FOR THIS SHIRT
The final results were as follows:

Excellent: 21 (22%)
Good: 21 (22%)
OK: 14 (15%)
Poor: 15 (16%)
Terrible: 24 (25%)

  1. Thats jjust utter trash.

It's not a kit at all. Its something that has been designed with just pure marketing in mind.

It looks like a t-shirt in shades that will go well with a pair of jeans.

If I were a Reading fan I'd be insulted by that and certainly wouldnt buy it.

    Terrible.

I wonder if the Reading players will have the same promlem Man U had in not being able to see each other?

  4. This is crap. Reading could have gone a number of ways and made a fine looking shirt. All you have to do is substitute the blue stripes with another color, like yellow, green, silver, anything really, and a matching solid color short. Done!

  5. How is it though? its different and not like all the "big clubs" with their repetitive crap being brought out every year!! Just because we're different, no one likes it.
