OK folks, here's the situation. We need to start winning some of these bets, and we need to start winning fast. Actually, come to think of it, we need to start providing you with some decent choices that could result in us winning money, and fast.
So to that end, here are this week's three options for you to choose from. Oh, and if you haven't the foggiest idea what the hell we're talking about, click on the 'Week 1' link to the right in the Champions League You Bet section. It's all explained there.
Bet A
Arsenal v Steaua Bucharest
Adebayor to score first
Potential winnings: £4.50
Bet B
Rangers v Lyon
Rangers to win 2-1
Potential winnings: £11.00
Bet C
Roma v Manchester United
Man U winning at Half Time, Roma winning at Full Time.
Potential winnings: £26.00
Quite a tempting selection, we think you'll agree. Just use the buttons below and tell us which one you think we should put our £1 bet on, and with any luck, we'll have our coffers overflowing with wealth once again. All for charity of course. Not a penny goes into our pockets. Honest.
UPDATE:
The public has spoken. The public has opted for Bet C - Man U winning at Half Time, Roma winning at Full Time, which could swell our coffers quite considerably.
Fingers crossed...
A difficult one this time.. Would not choose any of them to put my own money on, but if we want to win something fast then C is tempting.
ReplyDeleteManu losing with 2-1 after winning the first half with 0-1..it could happen..
Considering Adebayor has yet to score in this european campaign those odds are a little short (but then i guess he's overdue a goal)
ReplyDeleteI'm inclined to go with Sven and plump for C
Well I came very close to opting for C, but I think Rangers could beat Lyon as they already have done in France earlier in the Champions League this season. B gets my vote.
ReplyDeleteI'm with Chris O on this one. As much as I wanted to vote C, I had to go with B, it "felt" right.
ReplyDeleteWhich is always the best way base decisions on, who needs such lofty concepts as "logic" and "science".
Also, bear in mind that Uniteds game is 'redundant'. No matter what the result is, United will qualify top and Roma second.
ReplyDeleteThe Rangers game does have qualification riding on it.
Good point, Smart.
ReplyDeleteI think the implication of that is that Roma will take the game more seriously, since they got shellacked last year by United, and United nicked a victory earlier this season, so they've got something to prove.
so close...
ReplyDeleteSix yards out in the dying moments of the game...
ReplyDeletei need a regular update about bet
