I lived in Harlesden in 1996 and when the red Arrows flew over for the Euro opening ceremony, they flew past my window and almost seamlessly appeared on my television screen. Freaky.
I had a similar experience when Concorde was making its last flight!

ReplyDeleteI was out in the garden when at one point I heard what I thought was a single strange-sounding plane flying over.
Just goes to show how wrong you can be...
Next Sunday/Monday I'll have them over my garden for the Southend Air Show. Rooftop level on both days.
