Now there's something you don't see every day...

The Red Arrows just flew over the park outside my front door about two minutes before reaching Wembley.

The park outside my house is nowhere near as prestigious as Wembley, I'll grant you, but the noise sh*t me up no end...

  1. Oh so that's what it was?

I was out in the garden when at one point I heard what I thought was a single strange-sounding plane flying over.

Just goes to show how wrong you can be...

  2. Next Sunday/Monday I'll have them over my garden for the Southend Air Show. Rooftop level on both days.

  6. I lived in Harlesden in 1996 and when the red Arrows flew over for the Euro opening ceremony, they flew past my window and almost seamlessly appeared on my television screen. Freaky.

  7. I had a similar experience when Concorde was making its last flight!

This and other aircraft-related topics will soon be available via 'Some Aircraft Are Over The Pitch' - a new blog site for the aeronautically-minded... :o)
