  1. Number 7 in the list always makes me chuckle....

Wee story...a team from Glasgow once won the European cup, all Scotsman in the team and not one of them makes the list..also, will need to check the figures i'm sure if you add all the caps that team got together you get under 100 caps for the greatest EVER scottish team.

And they wonder why some Celtic fans don't care for the SFA and Scotland...

  2. Ah yes, the legend that is Christian Dailly... Us West Ham fans hold a special place for him. It's called 'the training ground...'

  3. I think only James McFadden of the current squad is held in higher esteem than Christian Dailly. Perhaps not the best player in our history, but certainly one of the most passionate. And has put in some fantastic performances for Scotland in different positions, but especially as a holding midfield player. Despite playing about 3 minutes of football all season, came on against Ukraine and stamped all over the game allowing Scotland to regain control.
Did a similar job in 2003 against Holland at home where we won 1-0, but picked up a booking and was suspended for the return, with the inevitable result.
If we are 1-0 up with 15 minutes left tomorrow, see who we'll call on. Christian 'divin, effin' cheatin german bastards' Dailly.
